Quinceañera Cookie Bar

This Summer I planned, styled and hosted a beautiful celebration in honor of my daughter Melanie's 15th birthday with a cultural tradition, a Quince!

Today, I want to share with you her lovely Cookie Bar which we had filled with ideas around her favorite things and the celebration's theme of modern-country in pinks, silver and wood.  We had so many amazing vendors helped make this a special cookie bar for our guests and the Quinceañera. They all did an amazing job on their cookies celebrating Melanie and her favorite things.

I designed the Cookie Bar to have a rustic look and I was able to achieve that by using this sawhorse and rustic door table which is a rental from a fabulous local vintage rental company, Sisters Vintage Rentals in Knoxville.  Then I wanted to have a mix of vintage pyrex bowls, metal and wooden stands to bring in all the elements of the event's theme.  You will see horses on our cookies and decor because the lovely event was held at a ranch style venue and our guests were smitten with all the horses and beautiful grounds of The Reserve at Bluebird Hill.

Eye Candy Creative Studio handlettered some beautiful labels for our bar and Jubilee Knoxchalks a wonderful chalkboard about our birthday girl as well as our "milk and cookies"! See more of Laura's handlettered items for our party on her own post here, she designed our Menu, escort cards and more for the entire event.

Our cookies are Melanie's favorite song lyrics, her event logo created by Blush Printables which KJ Cookies placed on cookies, her favorite Disney Princesses, the event's hashtag, Hello Kitty, and many more including lace, boots and horses, her name and monogram!  All these elements that were found through the party were part of the cookie designs.

Our table was decorated beautiful by our floral designer Sassafras Flowers and we found the cutest decor items to add as the metal M and wicker balls. We provided the guests with take out boxes for taking home as favors and also plates and napkins and pretty party supplies to enjoy the cookies at the party along with milk!

Illustrator Kori Clark designed a label for our Cruze Farm milk.  The illustration is of Melanie on her second dress and it's adorable.  We served chocolate and whole milk on cute vintage glass bottles.

I was so in love with the final look of the table, I'll be talking about this one for a while.  This event and the Cookie Bar were amazing, can't wait to share more with you from this Summer.
