Vintage Valentine Blush {Sending you my love...}

Our Valentine's Inpiration...
.....enjoy!

I like that feel when you walk into an Antique Shop and there's so much to see and everything is a nice delight to the eyes.

In this inspiration styled table I wanted to bring in colors together which I defined as blush.
 Blush by not only the rosy color but the blushing, sudden look in a woman's face and modesty as she is being complimented.  I based the theme in "Sending you my love",sending you my love with love letters, via phone, via presents that express those romantic feelings, and lastly via desserts....to win anyone's heart!  For texture I used different elements from burlap, lace, satin ribbons, kraft papers, doilies and more.  The mirrored table idea is to bring up the ribbon background from any angle as well as elegance.

The table is created for two....with his and hers seating!

 There is three main points I wanted to come across with on this table.  The seating, the dessert area and the presents area.

I love the designs that Piggy Bank Parties created for me with an elegant printable collection that includes straws flags, food labels and papers which I used to wrap the presents.

  Dainty Delights Inc. creates beautiful art on these cookies, perfect romantic and vintage style.  The lace inspired chocolate covered oreos by Sweet Temptations are beautiful and I added Martha Stewarts Crafts lace inspired circles as a doily to present them.  Love & Sugar Kisses brought my idea to life in fondant with the love letters, antique phones and even the precious doily hearts! I like the sentiment written on the purple heart cakes' flags by Go Against The Grain...."Life is Sweet", indeed! Crochet coaters by Henna's Boutique are a really nice addition to the mason jars for his and hers drinks. When I wanted to create a HIS and HERS place seating with something other than a written card, the idea of using this lovely letter block cookies by Ollie Tollys seem fit to the occasion. Aged postcards by Sunshine and Ravioli are one of my favorite items on the tablebecause of the birds and sayings.  The gifts are also decorated with a small bird couple, porcelain figurines from Suite One Studio.

Variation:  I love the idea of the variation on a styled photo shoot!  The variation here was created for kids, changing the his and hers seating into a table for 4 kids. Changing the seating to paper products but it still remains elegant.  The kids cups and favor boxes which have peeps marshmallows inside from Polka Dot Market are so precious with the lace design and flowers.  I like the rectangular shape of these plates from Shop Sweet Lulu to fit the right amount of goodies. Chocolate flavor straws were used for the kids cups.
