Book Party {Chapter II} Dessert Table Library and More

I couldn't fit all the goodness in one post, and I left the best for last!

 An amazing library themed dessert table with books as stands and our daughter's favorites as favors.

 

 

Since we had a cake table, with extra goodies, this table served as a favors table and treat bags were set up for the guests to take the goodies home.

Some of the favorites are tigers, butterflies, rock candy, school spirit cookies, Jeff Gordon, faith, and of course...books.

 

I planned a sort of coordinating to the table that you can see in the picture below with all the colors and patterns we were already using in the party. Just for the fun!

The 'chalkboard' look of the library background was created with black fabric and actually paint. Inspired on chalkboard walks. The books served as stands and there's wooden cake stands in black and white and ivory in the last row from the lovely stands found at Sweet Display. Bookmarks for labels with the attractive feel of letterpress by Fourth Year Studio.

 

 The Ribbon Cutters did an amazing job at styling everything for us that day. I can't believe they actually understood my little maps but great minds think alike!!!
