Last December I had the pleasure of styling this dessert display especially for the adults at a kid's birthday party. I thought the mom's idea of having a separate table with treats for the parents was genious! The kids were having a fun interactive party with Bricks 4 Kids of Knoxville which is an educational service with Lego Bricks and they not only do parties but also have after school programs, totally awesome!
I used the 'building' aspect of the theme and incorporated some building blocks to the table to style the desserts, using primary colors and giving it a grown up look with fresh flowers and frames.
For the desserts we had donuts, mini cupcakes, cakepops, cookies and various chocolates.
Yummy and fun! Keep in mind a table just for the adults next time you have a party, it might just be a hit!
