I wanted to incorporate on the party all those elements that make this movie known for. We chose an old building location, based our theme around music and the sayings from the movie as "The sun will come out tomorrow" and "Hard Knock Life".  The toppers and the cookies were strictly based on the new movie with the bycicle and sneakers and including purple on the colors because the color can be seen through the clothes and especially the sweater that Annie uses on the new movie.  Red balloons are just a must have for any Annie party!

The cake idea came together on wanting to use all the colors together using different textures on each of the four tiers and the heart locket was a must have!  I'm so glad my vendors make all my dreams come true!! To top it all we had some beautiful models who dressed in the all new Annie Collection from Target and they are so adorable and had so much with it.  The goodies were a bonus.

Aren't they the cutest?!
hey, it's a hard knock life but these girls are so much fun to have around...

Grandparent's Day Party

What a sweet occasion to celebrate such important people in our life and the lives of our children. Grandparents Day is celebrated on September and this party is especially dedicated to all those loving grandparents showing us love everyday and to those who now watch over us and are alive in our memories.

I was lucky enough to have this lovely shoot published on Polkadot Balloon Magazine for their Fall issue and now I get to share it here with you here! You can also see other ideas for Grandparents Day on my Pinterest Board especially for Grandparents Party.

You'll find a place setting for each Grandma and Grandpa and an array of desserts, fruit and treats to be shared with the grandchildren.

I can't say enough about the cake idea! MJ Tabush sent me the most beautiful toppers for the cake including edible picture frames of the grandparents and flowers.  I found a cake at the grocery store which was perfect but small.  The idea came to me to place it on top of a round cardboard box also styled to match the cake.  My favorite part is the way all the colors look together on that cake.

Another idea I liked was using newspaper, or in this case gift wrap that resembles newspaper and using that as a place mat on the setting. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!  Maybe you'll remember to get a sweet treat for the grands the next time the kids are off to visit...

Parisian Cafe Party

I had the pleasure of setting this table for a ladies luncheon with a request for a parisian theme. Macarons and sweet treats with fruits and chocolate were requested...a Patisserie! I love how the orange and navy blue look mixed in with pastels on this one.  I have fun mixing colors like that and twisting the typical and expected colors from a theme into something rather different and original and I'm glad that my suggestion worked as great.  It's fresh, pretty and inviting.
