A Blue Valentine's

I had the pleasure of spending time with friends this past Saturday
on a lunch I hosted to showcase my work.
I named the event, Blue Valentine's
Why? Just because as much as I love Valentine's Day
and all the pink, white and red decorations
that comes around on these days leading to it,
I also found that blue can be as gentle,
beautiful, lovely, inspired, romantic as you want it to be.
There is actually a lot of blue hearts
and blue colors party related items out there to get you going.
After all, it is a beautiful Wedding color.
I should say that my heart is not blue
and this party has no relation to the now released movie Blue Valentine,
although I am dying to watch it.

Enjoy!

Boxes from  Lil Anniebell that I embellished with blue twine and
blue heart buttons from  Supplies by Susan

Candy coated fortune cookies were given on the beautiful bags
from our sponsor Susan's Greetings

These fabulous sugar cookies from Lori's Place were given in the boxes.

  1. Amazing! Looks like your friends were in for a real treat. All of your desserts look so yummy. Now I want some candy jars for myself.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. What a gorgeous party! Love how you used an atypical color. I'm flattered that you incorporated my printable, too. Stay tuned, because I plan to feature this on my blog sometime soon. :)
