Sweet Stand

If you haven't yet, make sure and visit the first post on this Sweet Shoppe Party, an elementary graduation party I had for my sweet daughter this June.

I created a sweets stand for her and loved the results...

 The sweet stand offered cookies, candy buttons, meringue cookies, cherry yogurt pretzels, green apple pixie sticks, plenty of lollipops of and  ice cream shoppe flavored pop tarts

I found this fabric and the one on top of the stand at Hobby Lobby in the home fabrics section, and I knew I had to use it!

The kids played "pin the cherry on the cupcake", an idea by the honoree. Our good friend, Alexa, that created it for us even added real sprinkles on it!

Sweet Shoppe {An Elementary Graduation Party}

My baby girl just finished Elementary School and we wanted to celebrate her with a party just as sweet as she is...We found the perfect design at Chickabug to get our party started and I created a Sweets Stand that actually surprised myself.  Goodies were placed throughout the house from a kids table for them to color in and enjoy sweets, to a table set up with her work from Kindergarten-5th grade and plenty of fun treats, to the kitchen...where lunch was served and cupcakes and cookies were the center of attention, to the the final and greater set up outside...the Sweets Stand.

I placed kraft paper on the kids table for them to color on.

I found a great idea on Better Homes and Gardens March 2011 to use rubber bands and tags to identify glasses, I loved it and everyone had fun with it!

I placed mason jars on the table filled with Lemonade Gum Balls, Cookies, Whoppers and Lemonheads

The beautiful fondant toppers on these cupcakes are from Sweet Petal Bakery and we had used them recently on our In Flight Dessert Table.
