Quinceañero Court of Honor - Will you be my maid?

mason jar tags from Sweetly Scrapped Art on Etsy

Above are clear glass rustic boxes we found at Hobby Lobby and were given to two of the girls who are Damas de Honor (kind of like maid of honors).  All boxes were filled with pink favorites and included information as seen above for when it is, what to expect and a color palette. Also they all had a pinata cookie from KJ Cookies with a little surprise inside!

A Sixties MOD Bash

I helped my aunt Laura celebrate her 60th birthday in a Sixties MOD style with a really cool bash full of 60s music, vintage records, memories, and an awesome dessert table.

Cirque Baby Shower

When I asked my dear friend after offering to throw her a shower, what theme she would like and her response was: Cirque du Soleil....I was shocked!  I should have seen it coming as I know she enjoys the Cirque du Soleil shows and her hubby too but my mind went blank because I had never been to one.  So I took it upon myself to watch a lot of the cirque videos and look at pictures and start a new Cirque theme board on Pinterest.  Together with friends and her sister in law we created a great circus party to shower the mom and dad and the baby on the way this past February in South Florida.  (I love traveling for parties for friends and family with tons of boxes and carry on....fills my heart and it makes me happy!)

The fact that the party although for baby is so bright and festive gave me so much energy to work on it and spray paint and craft and find the best vendors to work with!  I tried to mix in land and animals and yellow and blue for cirque du soleil wherever possible.  

HWTM was so kind to custom their Cirque birthday invites for us into Baby Shower using the same lovely designs and Vanessa Grant Events used them to create amazing favor boxes and toppers for our cakepops as well as created umbrellas and cirque du soleil tents for our cupcakes.

Tables were decorated in blue and red with toys, votives, animal cookie boxes and for centerpieces we used flowers and umbrellas with the designs from the Cirque Collection.  Each centerpiece had a chocolate covered oreo favor from elle bakes who also created all our cakepops, cupcakes, macarons and cake!  

KJ cookies made a great selection of custom cookies within the baby shower theme and some with animal prints also using our colors.

animal crackers, candy, kettle corn and cotton candy were also offered and this is one party where the table was empty at the end and I loved it!!

I had so much with it and would do it all over again!  Sweet baby Byron was born later on February 28th and he's the cutest happy baby! 

So thankful to my great friends that help me create the most fun and amazing parties. Could not do it without them and thank you to Brenda at Sugar High Inc. for the fabulous cake topper for our elle bakes circus cake!
